Mezzaluna (Next Level Mall)

Interior architecture and full fit-out for Mezzaluna's Next Level location in Ankara — an 80-cover trattoria commissioned under d.ream (Doğuş Group), one of Turkey's leading restaurant operators. The plan negotiated two distinct dining conditions: an interior anchored by a wood-fired oven at its heart, and a terrace opening onto the mall's central courtyard. Rather than treating the mall context as a constraint, the design drew the courtyard in — blurring the line between enclosed dining room and open-air garden. The oven doubled as kitchen instrument and spatial focal point, giving the room the warmth and theatre of a genuine Italian trattoria. Scope covered spatial planning, custom joinery, material specification, lighting design, and construction oversight.
