Mezzaluna (Next Level Mall)

Interior architecture and full fit-out for Mezzaluna's Next Level restaurant in Ankara, an 80-seat trattoria commissioned by d.ream (Doğuş Group). The design balances two distinct dining environments: an interior centred around a wood-fired oven and a terrace overlooking the mall's central courtyard. The oven forms the heart of the restaurant, serving both as a working element of the kitchen and as the visual focus of the dining room. Large openings connect the interior to the terrace, extending the restaurant towards the courtyard and creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor seating. Warm timber, natural stone and carefully considered lighting reinforce the relaxed character of a traditional Italian trattoria while responding to the contemporary setting of the shopping centre. AGA's scope included spatial planning, bespoke joinery, material specification, lighting design and construction oversight.
